Managing Director

Daniel is a serial entrepreneur and marketing technology expert with 14 years of strong ties to Australia. He has worked for Telstra, founded and directed ADZ Energy, and currently serves as President of Beijing ATOMR Co., Ltd. Over the past six years, he has successfully founded, invested in, and developed companies in digital media, energy, and new energy sectors. He founded Beijing MiAge Advertising Co., Ltd in 2011, which was acquired by Leo Digital Network Group in 2015 for RMB 840 million. In 2022, he was granted the Global Talent (858 Visa) and Permanent Residency in Australia, where he co-founded ADZ Energy. ADZ Energy owns substantial gas assets in several Australian states and aims to provide sustainable energy solutions globally. Andrew Robertson

General Manager – Operations, Safety, Environment & land
Andrew has over 40 years of global experience in the energy sector with BP, BG/QGC, and Shell, in various leadership roles. Before joining ADZ Energy, he consulted for CC Energy in Oman with their senior leadership re-organisation. At BG/QGC, Andrew managed upstream business operations and assets in Queensland, and at BP, he oversaw the pre operations of the world's largest twin-deck platform in Azerbaijan, in the North Sea he served as Offshore Installation Manager and Technical Authority. Andrew brings extensive practical and pragmatic operational leadership experience to ADZ Energy.

Stephanie Oppermann

General Manager – people, strategy & governance

Stephanie, an Executive HR Professional with experience extending across HR operational strategy, has an extensive working understanding of employment legislation, workforce planning and budgeting, talent pipeline and employee engagement programs and change transformation and organisational redesign. With a career expanding over 20 years in HR operational leadership roles across the banking and finance sector to professional services, and executive HR leadership roles across the mining and metals industry, Stephanie has developed and delivered strategic business growth initiatives that that have led to demonstrated long term business grow.

 

Formerly, and most recently working with Anglo American (13+ years) at a Senior Leadership regional level overseeing regional capital projects and major works contracts and management of a major asset portfolio for the group which was approved and sponsored by the Executive Board. Prior to this Stephanie performed a critical role as part of the Senior Leadership team across multiple operating UG/Open Cut sites that extended across regional Queensland.

 

Stephanie combines self-awareness, good communication and collaboration skills, honesty, integrity, and the visionary leadership to inspire and motivate others on the journey to delivering successful outcomes and in striving for industry best practice. Stephanie completed an executive leadership program run by the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL) and holds a Bachelor degree majoring in HR and Marketing from Griffith University.

Robin O’Leary

Robin has 25 years as an oil and gas professional leading E&D programs across both onshore and offshore Australia and Internationally (New Zealand, East Timor, Vietnam, and Kenya) with a track record of discoveries, project delivery and strategy execution. Robin has held exploration management roles with Origin Energy, Beach Energy, Timor Resources, Armour Energy and now ADZ Energy. He has also held technical advisory roles supporting Australian Petroleum Production and Exploration Association, the Queensland Resources Council and Geoscience Australia.

Wayne Richards

General Manager – drilling & capital Projects
Wayne has 27 years of experience in the oil and gas industry including 15 years during the ramp up of the CSG sector. His expertise includes operations, commissioning, and project management via various FIFO assignments across Australia. Wayne's leadership and organisational skills are well-regarded, particularly in contracts, project management, and petroleum infrastructure. Notably, Wayne worked with Origin Energy in key roles in the APLNG project including Well Commissioning Manager and Well Services Manager. At ADZ Energy, Wayne oversees the Surat Basin capital works program. Wayne holds a Bachelor of Applied Science from The University of Queensland.

Edith Lagendijk

Edith has over 25 years’ global experience in the energy sector, working for Shell, ConocoPhillips, Woodside and Arrow Energy in various leadership roles. Prior to ADZ Energy Edith was consulting, providing specialist technical advice in the areas of reservoir evaluation, field development planning, project reviews and technical assurance. At Shell Edith worked in key front end development planning and new business development roles. Back in Australia she worked in various Subsurface management positions, as discipline lead and providing technical assurance on Shell’s QCLNG Project. Edith graduated from Cambridge University with a MA Honours in Engineering and a MEng in Petroleum Engineering and MBA with Distinction from Herriot Watt University, United Kingdom.

Bob Wu

Financial controller – finance & risk assurance

Bob brings over 18 years of commercial and financial leadership across the energy, manufacturing, and food sectors. He has deep expertise in financial strategy, capital raising, and risk management, underpinned by extensive experience in banking and financier relations, including structuring multi-million-dollar debt and equity facilities.

Bob has successfully led funding programs for both private and publicly listed companies, most notably steering Australian Oilseeds Limited through its NASDAQ listing, securing a USD $50 million equity line of credit, and overseeing investor relations and SEC compliance. His experience also includes senior roles at Energreen Nutrition, where he obtained government grants and structured project financing for renewable energy developments, and with CNOOC in the QCLNG project, where he led financial reporting, project audit, and refinancing efforts totalling USD $2.7 billion.

Bob is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Master of Professional Accounting from Monash University, with a career defined by strategic foresight, robust financial governance, and a strong track record in delivering growth through financial discipline and innovation.
